Yesterday console gaming changed substantially. For the first time ever (technically), Virtual Reality gaming has come to the markets at a reasonable price for casual console gamers.

While this is not actually the first VR headset to come out, nor is it going to be the last, Virtual Reality is exciting and is hitting the mass markets. I was lucky enough to pick up a Playstation VR Launch Bundle on day one, especially being that I didn’t get to pre-order and that I picked up the very last headset any of the local stores had left.

What makes this new type of gaming so intriguing is that virtual reality is a relatively new accomplishment being that the technology has finally caught up to the point where we can feel immersed. The screen moves and works perfectly so that you feel like you’re in the game, and now (most) games run smoothly enough that you won’t become sick or nauseated.

I’m excited to get the opportunity to start posting some videos here soon, and show how amazing this technology is. I’ll be keeping you updated as I continue to play with this new feat in gaming, and I apologize for the lack of videos or Gears 4 Review, this has taken a lot of my focus away.
