This week was a little lacking in posts, and there’s no one to blame but myself.
I did say in the beginning, that while this blog is important to me, my life does come first, just as I would expect yours to before you go online. My goal is at least a single post each week, whether this be a simple blog post like this, or a video on the Youtube channel.
While we’re on the topic though, doesn’t it feel like our lives are so busy like all the time? I mean, how many times a week do you feel like you can sit down and relax. And of those times, how many do you then feel guilty about after thinking you could have been getting this or that done? It feels like life is never going to slow down sometimes, and that we blink and all of sudden weeks have passed, with missed opportunities and less and less good things.
This past week I actually had a couple days off of school, but one of those days I interviewed for a new job, and then worked the rest of the night until my church group. I got home around 10:30 that night. The following day I had off I spent about 4 hours working on homework. I did have some youtube or movies going on off the side to keep me from going insane, but by the end of the night I went off to work, and then spent the evening with my girlfriend. How did those days go by so quickly? Maybe it was catch-up after I spent the weekend before volunteering 4 hours away on a youth group trip (Picture above is from the camp we were at).
Does anyone else feel like this sometimes? I’m sure it happens to all of us where between school projects, work, and everything else people expect from us we can become overwhelmed. I certainly do. On top of this all I’m trying to get a couple of workouts in a day, and eat right.
Sometimes the hardest thing is just putting our faith in God, and knowing that he’s in control. Life gets rough, we all know this. But we can’t overlook those mini-miracles where we get to spend time with the people we’re closest with. If you’re ever going through these moments, I’ll always be willing to pray for you.
I know this blog post may be abrupt, but like you I’m also quite busy. Next week I’ll definitely have more, but until then you and me both got a weekend to get through, fun or not. Just keep going!
